Who we are

Juneberry is a brand operated by Arctic Fox ApS, CVR 45593088, Bramsvej 13, 2920 Charlottenlund, Denmark. Arctic Fox ApS is also registered in Denmark under the secondary name Juneberry ApS; your agreement is with Arctic Fox ApS under either name. Write to us at help@byjuneberry.com.

What Juneberry is

Juneberry sends you gentle questions about your child’s first years; you answer with photographs and words; Juneberry keeps those answers as a private family story and composes them into a book. A few passages of the story are drafted with the help of an AI writing service — always from your family’s own words, never from anybody else’s, and never from your photographs. The privacy policy says exactly what is sent and what is not.

Joining

Juneberry is currently in a closed opening: families join by personal invitation, one at a time.

You must be at least 18 to use Juneberry. Beginning a story about a child requires that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or act with the parents’ clear permission.

Your account

You sign in with your mobile number and a code we text you; there is no password. Keep your phone and your number safe — anybody who can receive your codes can open your family’s story. If you believe somebody else has gained access, tell us at help@byjuneberry.com straight away.

Your content stays yours

Every photograph and every word you give Juneberry remains yours. We claim no ownership of any of it.

So that Juneberry can work, you give Arctic Fox ApS a limited licence to store, back up, display to your family, and process your photographs and words — solely to provide Juneberry to your family, never for advertising, never for training AI models, and for no other purpose. The licence ends for material that is permanently deleted.

What you promise about your content

You promise that you have the right to share what you upload. Where a photograph or a memory shows or names somebody else — a child, a relative, a friend — you promise that you are entitled to include them: as the child’s parent or guardian, or with the person’s (or their parents’) agreement.

You will not use Juneberry for anything unlawful, and you will not upload material that is unlawful to hold or to share.

Acceptable use

Juneberry is a private family archive, and that is what it may be used for. Do not attempt to break, probe or overload the service, to reach another family’s story, or to use Juneberry to gather or keep data about people without their knowledge.

Prices and payment

Using Juneberry costs nothing, and nothing is charged or billed. There are no subscriptions. There is no way to pay us inside Juneberry at all today: no price is shown, no card is stored, nothing can be ordered.

If a part of Juneberry ever becomes something you buy, you will see the price including VAT and the terms of the purchase before you owe anything — and you will never owe anything you have not expressly agreed to.

The printed book, and your right of withdrawal

The book Juneberry composes is digital first. A printed volume is what Juneberry is building towards, and it cannot be bought yet.

If we do offer to print one, the offer itself will carry the price, what production and delivery involve, and what happens if you change your mind — shown before you pay rather than afterwards. Nothing would be printed until you had read every page and said yes.

When you buy at a distance you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Danish law makes exceptions to it, among them goods made to a buyer’s own specification, and a volume set from your own family’s story may fall within one. Whether it does, and what that means for a particular order, we will state plainly in the offer before you pay rather than leave you to find it here.

Your rights if something you buy turns out to be faulty — including the Danish right to complain about a defect for two years — are untouched by these terms.

Other people’s services

If you answer through WhatsApp, WhatsApp is Meta’s service and your use of it is governed by Meta’s own terms. Your mobile carrier’s charges for messages are your own, as with any conversation.

Availability and change

Juneberry is young and still being built. We work to keep it available and we improve it continuously, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults.

We may change Juneberry as it grows. If a change materially reduces what Juneberry is, we will say so before it happens — and we will never quietly take away your story.

Ending

You can stop using Juneberry at any time, and you can ask us to delete your family’s data — the privacy policy says how.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Unless security demands otherwise, we will tell you why and give you the chance to put it right.

If Juneberry itself ever closes, we will give you notice and a reasonable time to take your story out first.

Our responsibility

We are liable under the ordinary rules of Danish law, and nothing in these terms limits rights the law grants you as a consumer that cannot be waived, or our liability for intent or gross negligence.

We are not liable for failures caused by matters outside our reasonable control — for example an outage at your message carrier.

The Juneberry name

The Juneberry name, mark and design belong to Arctic Fox ApS. Your family’s story belongs to your family.

Law and complaints

Danish law applies to these terms, without depriving you of protections granted by mandatory rules of the country you live in.

If something goes wrong, write to help@byjuneberry.com first — most things are solved that way. As a consumer you can also complain through the Danish consumer complaints system at Nævnenes Hus, beginning with Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager and, if needed, the Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet): naevneneshus.dk.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page before the change takes effect. If you do not accept a change, you can stop using Juneberry and take your story with you.
